Appliances · Building Installations · Photovoltaics · Machinery

TÜV-certified inspectors. Calibrated Fluke test equipment. Complete documentation.

Legally required electrical safety testing for businesses in Baden-Württemberg.

Running a German site from abroad? DGUV V3 testing is an operator duty under German law. We carry out the inspections, deliver the documentation, and coordinate with your headquarters in English.

Our testing services at a glance

The German legal context, briefly

DGUV Vorschrift 3 is the German accident-prevention regulation for electrical installations and equipment. It requires every operator of a German site to have electrical systems and appliances inspected at intervals derived from a risk assessment, by a qualified person, and to keep the test documentation available. The responsibility remains with site management even when testing is outsourced.

Our DGUV V3 Testing Services

We test electrical systems and appliances across your facility with calibrated Fluke instruments – and deliver documentation your auditor and insurer can work with.

Portable Appliances

Testing of all portable and movable electrical devices: computers, coffee machines, power tools, extension cables.

Fixed Installations

Testing of permanently installed electrical systems: switchgear, distribution boards, lighting systems, outlets.

Electrical Machinery

Testing per DIN EN 60204-1 for production machines, machine tools, and manufacturing equipment.

Building Electrical Systems

Full inspection of building electrical installations: distribution boards, lighting, RCD/GFCI protection, emergency lighting.

Photovoltaic Testing

PV system testing per DIN VDE 0126-23: I-V curve measurement, insulation testing, thermographic inspection.

Test Reports & Labels

Complete digital documentation of all tests with detailed reports and test labels on every inspected device.

Schedule Management

We track your testing deadlines and remind you when repeat inspections are due. No deadline gets missed.

Defect Remediation

On request, we fix identified defects on-site or coordinate the repair with your maintenance team.

Initial & Repeat Testing

Both initial testing for new installations and recurring inspections as required by regulation.

Only need some of these services? No problem. We tailor our offer to your exact requirements.

Building Electrical Testing

Building Electrical Systems. Fully tested.

Testing the building's electrical infrastructure is a key part of DGUV Regulation 3 compliance. We inspect the entire electrical installation, from the main distribution board down to individual outlets.

Electrical Distribution Boards

Inspection of all main and sub-distribution boards for proper condition, correct fusing, and labeling.

Lighting Systems

Testing of all lighting including emergency and safety lighting per DIN EN 50172.

RCD/GFCI Protection

Functional testing of all residual current devices with trip time and trip current measurement.

Outlets & Wiring

Inspection of all fixed outlets, wiring, and connection points for proper condition.

Photovoltaics per DIN VDE 0126-23

PV System Testing. Protect your output.

Photovoltaic systems are electrical installations and fall under DGUV V3 testing requirements. We perform both initial commissioning tests and repeat inspections with calibrated Fluke instruments, combined with thermographic analysis.

I-V Curve Measurement

Current-voltage characteristic measurement of each string to detect power losses and defective modules.

Insulation Testing

Insulation resistance measurement of DC wiring and modules to detect insulation faults.

Thermography

Thermographic inspection with Fluke thermal cameras to detect hot spots, defective cells, and bypass diode failures.

Tip: We recommend combining PV testing with a thermographic inspection. That way you catch not just electrical faults but also thermal anomalies like hot spots.

Our Test Equipment: Fluke Only

We work exclusively with calibrated Fluke instruments, the global leader in electrical test and measurement equipment. This guarantees you the highest measurement accuracy, reliability, and legally compliant test results.

Maximum Precision

Calibrated Fluke instruments deliver exact readings for legally compliant test reports.

Wide Range of Applications

From insulation testing to I-V curve measurement to thermography, all from one provider.

Regular Calibration

All our instruments are regularly calibrated and meet current standards.

Frequently Asked Questions about DGUV V3

DGUV V3 testing (formerly BGV A3) is a legally required inspection of electrical systems and appliances in businesses. It covers portable devices, fixed installations, building electrical systems (distribution boards, lighting, RCDs, emergency lighting), and photovoltaic systems. We work exclusively with calibrated Fluke instruments.

The binding interval is set by your risk assessment per TRBS 1201. Guide values for orientation: portable devices in offices every 24 months, in workshops and production every 6 months, fixed installations and building systems every 4 years, PV systems every 4 years per DIN VDE 0126-23.

DGUV V3 testing may only be performed by qualified persons (certified electricians) with appropriate qualifications, professional experience, and regular continuing education. Our inspectors are TUV-certified.

Effort is driven by device count, system type, installation situation, accessibility, documentation status, and the required downtime. That is why we do not quote flat per-device rates. You receive a fixed-price offer after an on-site assessment – the initial consultation is free.

The testing obligation follows from DGUV Regulation 3 together with BetrSichV. Without documented testing, proof towards the statutory accident insurance and your insurer is missing if an incident occurs. Complete test reports and deadline monitoring keep that proof available at any time.

Yes, we test the entire building electrical infrastructure (distribution boards, lighting, RCDs, emergency lighting) as well as photovoltaic systems per DIN VDE 0126-23, including I-V curve measurement and insulation testing – as initial or recurring inspection.

We test exclusively with calibrated Fluke instruments. Calibration is renewed regularly and documented – the basis for reliable readings and legally sound test reports.
